So a co-worker comes in this morning and says "Y'all - DID YOU KNOW that they're gonna put THREE SCHOOLS IN ONE SITE???!?"

cue the crickets.

Sometimes I wonder what it's like to live in la-la happy land like that and just be completely clueless to everything going on.

I wonder if she's heard about the oil spill yet...

??? i dont see what the big deal is. this was just proposed like a week ago or something, not like its been talked about for years.

She just came in and announced it like she was the first person to hear about it LOL.
Guess it would be more relevent if I pointed out she never knows whats going on. EVER. She has kids in Wise Co. schools you'd think she'd pay attention to that! Like I said she probably isn't even aware of the BP spill yet.

It's like a daily thing with her... I kind of get used to it then sometimes I just have to ask her what rock she lives under sometimes.

But if its celebrity news/gossip by golly she's all over that!

Well you know that she is this way and you are up to date on things but you don't offer to fill her in when you find out and keep her a little more apprised of things????

This is the same person, when we tried to explain to her what a book of aesop's fables was (which was a gift for her kid) said "well I have a hard time believing he was around before Jesus"
